Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) has released its highly anticipated 2023 list of 40 Under 40 leaders and innovators in the staffing industry. This prestigious recognition highlights the trailblazers who are shaping the future of the industry with their exceptional contributions and leadership.

SIA President, Barry Asin, expressed excitement in honoring the outstanding professionals on this year’s list, acknowledging the challenges and opportunities they face. “Congratulations to our 2023 honorees for pushing forward undeterred and bringing a new generation of leadership to the industry,” Asin said.

The 40 Under 40 list celebrates individuals from companies operating in the United States who have shown exemplary leadership and have contributed significantly to elevating the industry’s ecosystem. It features workforce specialists, entrepreneurs, executives, innovators, creators, and influencers.

One such standout honoree is Michael Mitchell, CEO of Integra Staffing Inc. Michael’s journey to success is both inspiring and unique. After serving in the Iraq war, he faced challenges transitioning to civilian life until his grandmother offered him a recruiting position at her firm. Thriving in this new career, he later established his own company, Integra Staffing, at just 28 years old.

Integra Staffing has since grown under Michael’s leadership, placing candidates in various industries, including IT, administrative, and manufacturing. Despite the pandemic’s challenges, Michael’s firm remained resilient, upholding its commitment to serve clients with integrity.

Drawing from his personal experiences as an Army veteran, Michael is dedicated to helping veterans and other disadvantaged job seekers. He believes in providing everyone with a chance to succeed and works diligently to make that a reality through Integra Staffing.

In addition to his impactful work in the staffing industry, Michael believes in giving back to the community. He actively supports local initiatives by hosting annual food and blanket drives and sponsoring Little League organizations. These efforts not only benefit the community but also foster a stronger bond with his staff.

Looking to the future, Michael aims to revolutionize the hiring process by leveraging automation to enhance efficiency and meet the dynamic demands of the labor market. “I want to be able to connect the dots in the workforce as efficiently as possible,” he says, emphasizing his commitment to helping more people find meaningful careers.

The 40 Under 40 list and profiles of all the honorees are featured in the July/August 2023 issue of Staffing Industry Review magazine. The achievements of these young leaders will be formally recognized during SIA’s Collaboration in the Gig Economy conference, scheduled for Sept. 19-21 in Dallas.
