Dreame Technology Partners with ROBOCON to Promote Robotics in China
Dreame Technology, a globally leading company in smart home cleaning appliances, was named an official partner of ROBOCON 2022. As leaders in the technological landscape and just plain geeks for robotics, Dreame’s engineers, along with ROBOCON representatives, came together to develop a comprehensive training plan to prepare upcoming talent soon to enter the robotics industry while Dreame also provided technical support throughout the duration of the competition. With its geek genes and core advantages in robotics technology, Dreame Technology has become a strategic partner of ROBOCON 2022, providing technical support throughout the competition. Dreame also plans to cooperate with the ROBOCON to usher in a comprehensive talent training program for the players, which will foster more top telants in the robotics industry. The 21st competition in China was successfully concluded on July 24, with thousands college students from 115 colleges and universities.
As the most technically challenging and influential international robotics competition, ROBOCON’s “Asia-Pacific University Robot Competition (ABU Robocon)” has been held for 20 years, making it an honor for Dreame to be recognized as a leader in the robotics industry and help guide the next generation of robotic engineers. The event integrated resources from different universities, media outlets, enterprises, and government departments — positively contributing to robotics education. More than 600 technology companies have since been incubated, and the competition has unearthed an outstanding group of entrepreneurs.
As preparations intensified on the eve of ROBOCON’s equestrian competition — a test that requires students to develop a four-legged robotic horse to compete in sprint and obstacle competitions, endurance tests, and judged on its ability to move independently — engineers from Dreame’s Innovation Research Institute prepared an exclusive training session on the theme of “Robot Motion Control and Planning Algorithms.” As a leading technology firm, Dreame believes it is of the utmost importance to share their expert knowledge and experiences to the future leaders of innovation.
