Tony T. Williams acknowledged with the honor of feature in Marquis Who’s Who for Excellence in Military Communications

MSG Williams has served our nation in combat and garrison in the U.S. military for over 20 years.

Uniondale, New York – December 21, 2021 – Tony T. Williams, the Detachment Sergeant in the Criminal Investigations Division of the Sixth Military Police Group at Joint Base Lewis–McChord, has recently been inducted into the esteemed biographical platform Marquis Who’s Who. For over two decades, MSG Williams has been one of the most revered Master Sergeants in the U.S. Army. In his current position, he is endowed with the responsibility of providing safety training and weapons to investigative agents.

Marquis Who’s Who selects individual profiles based on current reference value, focusing on multiple factors like designation, major achievements, visibility as well as standing in a field.

A leading expert in telecommunications in the military, MSG Williams had previously held the designation of signal Noncommissioned Officer for multiple cavalry, air defense, field artillery, military intelligence, and infantry brigades and battalions stationed across the USA as well as South Korea and Germany. In 2016, he was inducted into the U.S. Army Signal Corps ‘ Order of Mercury, which recognizes leaders in the military communications  community for career and strategic achievement and contributions.

One of the most academically accomplished officials in the U.S. Military, MSG Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Gerontology and a Master of Arts degree  in Healthcare Administration from the University of Arizona Global Campus (formerly Ashford University).  He maintains affiliations with some of the most revered organizations of the country, including the Gerontological Society of America, the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, the American College of HealthCare Administrators, the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, the U. S. Cavalry Association, the Signal Corps Regimental Association, the Air Defense Artillery Association, and the Military Police Regimental Association. 

During his station in Germany, MSG Williams was acknowledged with the honor of induction into the esteemed Sergeant Morales Club in recognition of his exemplary display of leadership, professionalism, and leadership values. 

MSG Williams has been a proud recipient of several honorable awards, medals, and recognitions for his inspiring service in the U.S. Military. He received the NATO medal from the Secretary General of NATO in 2013 for his service in the U.S. War in Afghanistan. He has also been acknowledged with the U.S. Army Combat Action Badge. MSG Williams has not only been honoured by the national military but by the German and South Korean military too. He has received the German Military Proficiency Badge (GOLD), German Armed Forces Badge of Marksmanship (GOLD), and a Letter of Commendation from the President of South Korea.

“I am dedicated to the country and the military; I feel humbled and grateful for the honors and recognitions that have been bestowed upon me in acknowledgement of my service. I must say, I owe a great part of my success to the training and guidance of my mentors, especially my instructors in the JROTC  (Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps). I could not be here where I am today without their support, training, and motivation.”

MSG Williams further aspires to attain Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Liberty University in near future.
