Rob Levine & Associates to donate 1,000 Backpacks Filled with School Supplies to Rhode Island and South-eastern Massachusetts Students
Leading Providence Personal Injury attorney firm Rob Levine & Associates is pleased to announce its Back-to-School Backpack Program, the latest addition to the firm’s Rob Levine Gives Back initiative. As part of the initiative, 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies will be donated to Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts students in Grades K-5. The event is scheduled to be hosted at the Roger Williams Carousel Village in Providence, Rhode Island.
Each of the donated backpacks will contain all the essentials required to set children up for the upcoming school year – folders, notebook, pencils, pencil case, pencil sharpener, crayons, scissors, glue stick, and water bottle.
Interested individuals would have to register online to sign up with the Back-to-School Backpack Program. On the day of the event, registered families will have to stop by the designated location to pick up their backpacks, there will be arrangements for refreshments and also fun activities like carousel rides with kids.
For the inaugural edition of the Back-to-School Backpack Program, Rob Levine & Associates has partnered with 8 community organizations- Central Falls Public Schools, Progreso Latino, St. Mary’s Home for Children, Dorcas International, East Providence Public Schools, DARE, Central Falls Parks and Recreation, and Pawtucket Boys and Girls Club.
In an exclusive interview, Rob Levine, the founder of Rob Levine & Associates, shared that the Back-to-School Backpack Program is driven by the ethos to support underprivileged children with required school supplies to set them up for educational success. The program is especially launched this year in the light of economic hardships faced by many families in the current pandemic era.
“Our Back-to-School Backpack Program is our humble endeavor to create a positive difference for kids and families in the community. This year has been especially challenging for many parents due to the menacing COVID-19 pandemic. A lot of parents have experienced loss of income and also have had to bear unforeseen expenses brought on by the pandemic. They are struggling real hard to accommodate the educational expenses of their kids- our Back-to-School Backpack Program is especially developed to help out these families in managing the academic expenses of their children. We want to tell them we have their back in this dire crisis”, stated Levine.
“Our overall goal is to raise awareness about the significance of mental and physical well-being of every child. By supporting them with essential school supplies for educational success, we have just taken the first step and there are many more on the line.”
The Back-to-School Backpack Program is just one part of the many philanthropic initiatives carried out by Rob Levine & Associates for years now.
